    • Sonar Retrieval Speed Override

    A SONAR RETRIEVAL SPEED OVERRIDE switch, located on the sonar hover indicator panel, is a guarded two-position switch, Figure 1-10-9. When in the NORM position, raising of the transducer is carried out at normal speed using the RAISE switch on the dome control. Selecting the switch from NORM to INTERMEDIATE, enables recovery of the transducer at 5 feet per second when using the RAISE switch on the dome control.
