Mode of operation with the GRU in the SLAVE mode are the same as those available for the GRU in the FREE mode, with the exception that correction signals have no apparent effect and the GRU follows the magnetic flux valve signal ±gyro controller variation. The effect of this is to increase navigation system cross track errors.
