The On-Top Position Indicator (OTPI) system is used in conjunction with the UHF radio direction finder to provide the capability for the detection and location of sonobuoys. The information can be selected to display on the BDHI.

The OTPI uses the ARA-25 antenna located under the nose as shown in the drawing.
