Azimuth Range Indicator

The search radar set is used in antisubmarine warfare, search and rescue, navigation and weather avoidance. It has a display range of up to 100 nautical miles and 360 coverage around the aircraft.

Displays radar returns oriented to true or relative heading, along with supporting range rings, heading marker, and bearing strobe with range cursor. There is also a mechanical protractor which can be illuminated and rotated.
